FAQ
Q: Where are planetarium shows?
A: In the Physics and Math Building (Science Complex) in room P-115.
Q: When are planetarium shows?
A: Our public planetarium shows start at 7:00pm! We recommend you arrive 15 minutes early to find a good seat and get settled.
Q: Is this okay for photosensitive people?
A: None of our shows contain any flashing or strobing lights that could affect anyone who is photosensitive; please note, though, that if the projector malfunctions, it could turn on and off rapidly. If you have concerns, please reach out to Dr. Lanz at lanzl@tcnj.edu. Some of our shows display how the night sky changes with time or shows the sky as if you were flying to another planet; such changes can cause some to experience motion sickness. We recommend that guests look down and away from the screen if this starts to happen.
Q: Are shows okay for kids?
A: While our shows are completely safe for all ages, it is 30 minutes of sitting in a room and talking about space, so we generally don’t recommend them for young kids.
